Because on-line poker rooms frequently change their rules regarding prohibited software, and usually without warning, you might find yourself in violation and in jeapordy of having your poker room account closed.
Since, I only play in the sit n go holdem poker tournaments, I use the Tournament Indicator software. It is a sweet little program offering many indispensible features. One such feature is the M and M Zone for every player. No other software provides this information. And, for end-game and bubble play, knowing everyone's M Zone is crucial to winning.
But, I am quite aware that the rules can change, and the software that I thought was permitted, might now be prohibited. So, in late May of 2009, I did some research.
First, I inquired of Tournament Indicator support regarding the known status of their product. You can read my inquiry and their response below. The information I received was favorable and encouraging.
Next, I looked at the PokerStars Prohibited Poker Software list. PokerStars is the only poker room that publishes a listing of permitted and prohibited software by name. Tournament Indicator was listed as being a permitted software product.
At this point, I concluded my research. I had found all the assurances that I felt that I needed. In my opinion, my question had been answered - Tournament Indicator was legal software.
But, you should always confirm such matters for yourself with your poker room - the rules do change from time to time, and from one poker room to another.

Further more, Tournament Indicator is officially approved by PokerStars, which is the biggest poker site now.
For Full Tilt, they don't have an approved list as PokerStars does. But I can give you 100% guarantee that it's 100% legal on Full Tilt. We are actually a long term affiliate with them. And we didn't get any reports that a player's account was banned because of using Tournament Indicator.
Feel free to let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you,
John
