Free Poker Database (FPDB) is a database program to track your online poker games, the behavior of the other players, and your winnings/losses. FPDB supports Holdem, Omaha, Stud and Razz for cash games, as well as SnG and MTT tournaments, with more possibly coming in the future. The software is currently in alpha status, which means some of the features are not yet working. As it is open source, you are free to add any feature you like, or to modify the existing ones to fit your needs.

Type: Hand Histories
Most online players are familiar with tracking software such as Poker Tracker and Holdem Manager. These tools record every hand that you play and give you detailed information on how your opponents have played in these hands.
This information can be overlayed on the poker tables as you play to remind you of how everyone plays. You can see how many hands a player has played, how tight/loose, passive/aggressive they are, how much they have won or lost and many other things.
This information is hugely valuable and these tools are used by a large number of winning online players. The power of these tools is directly proportional to the amount of data you have on other players (ie. the number of hands).

Type: Analysis
Here is a tip for converting certain player key stats into a defined hand range. Download the PokerStove freeware. Then, in the input field for player-1 enter a percentage like 6%. The entry field will then show you the starting hand range for the top 6% starting hand group.
So if an opponents vp$ip = 18%, and his pf-raise = 7%, you could enter 18% into the player-1 entry field, and 7% into the player-2 entry field. Then, you would have a good idea about the range of hands he would limp with (vp$ip), and the range of hands he would preflop raise with (pf-raise).
Of course for many decent opponents, you would adjust the range based on position. Most decent players play tighter from early positions and looser from later positions. So, take that into consideration about his range for that hand.

The SitNGo Wizard reads your tournament hand history and runs an analysis of each hand. The analysis compares the equity you would have if you fold pre-flop to the equity you would have if you push all-in pre-flop. Equity is your share of the prize pool at any point in the tournament.
